If you place a crystal over your third eye (above your forehead) you can listen to your inner voice and quickly calm yourself and bring your energy into balance.

I suggest that people who are beginning to utilize the power of crystals work with their right-brain energy-this intuitive capacity increases and expands with everyday application of crystal energy. Ultimately, relying on the right brain can help increase wisdom and instinct. As westerners, we have relied much on the left-brain activities of our logical, linear, goal-oriented thinking. CLEARING AND CLEANSING

Some crystals have other people's thought forms and negative emotions already in them. If you use crystals for your own aura cleansing or if you use them for healing purposes, it is wise to cleanse them frequently to unlock the grief, anger, sadness, or other impurities trapped in the crystal.

There are many different methods of cleansing, but all methods I know use either salt water, spring water or sea salt. This is the method I use: Place stones in a bowl of water with at least two tablespoons of course salt (kosher) for twenty-four hours. Maybe, dry in sunlight or near a plant to give them a whiff of nature. Do not let anyone else handle them. If a crystal has been used for healing, it can be purified by circling it through sage smoke seven times counterclockwise.
