IS PLUTO DOING IT'S MAGIC?

For those of you who don't know a lot about astrology, your natal astrological chart provides a map of the sky at the time of your birth. The planets will move and associate with one another in various ways, shifting that original map throughout your life. The outermost planet (now considered a dwarf planet) and slowest moving is Pluto. In Roman mythology, Pluto is considered the God of the underworld, ruling death and rebirth/regeneration. It represents our unconscious urge to transform repressed ego-desire energies into group-desire energies in order to live out your role in societies evolution,
It exerts long-term pressure, chipping away one little piece at a time, until dramatic shifts occur.
Pluto now has changed signs to Capricorn, and that can tell us more about where the chipping away will happen. Capricorn rules government, institutions, the big structures, like corporations, and the status quo. When the God of the underworld is in charge it's though someone turned on a cosmic Roter Rooter machine. Pluto will always root out imbalances, corruption, whatever needs to be purged and transformed. Because Pluto is so slow-moving, it is closely associated with the transformational process of evolution. Who and what we are today is not what we will be when Pluto in Capricorn finishes the job, sometime in 2023.

We can already see some of its work in the banking scandals and in the government/corporate handling of the Gulf Oil spill, which is far from over, Pluto will keep digging, deeper and deeper, and deeper, until whatever needs to be exposed can be seen for what it is.

If you apply this to your personal life, then you can understand that Pluto will draw deep psychological issues out in the open. There may be some "no pain, no gain" in this process but ultimately, Pluto encourages us to be reborn, and build something new. Holding onto cherished structures in whatever area your life Pluto does its magic, whether it is marriage finances or career, etc., just isn't an option. This is the chunk of time in which you will be letting go and seeing any issues that have been hidden. Many will experience intense power struggles in a way that forces you to deal with your own inner demons. The surprise may be that there is no monster inside of you but simply a call to let it go, break down, release and then rebuild. If you are willing to eliminate whatever isn't working in your life--and Pluto will show you exactly what and where that is--then you will be meeting Pluto more than half-way. At the same time, you may discover strengths and a deeper faith within you, greater and more resilient than you have ever known. This will help you tap into your own inner power source and guidance system.
