JUDGEMENT DAY??

Even after spending so many years working with tools of divination, such as Tarot cards, I can still be surprised by what they have to teach. Sometimes I will randomly pick one tarot card in the morning to give me a sense of what the day will hold. The information is usually helpful and I highly recommend the practice, particularly if you're interested in learning about Tarot. At other times I will intentionally pick a card and meditate on it's meaning, seeking additional insight into the archetype each card represents. I always learn something new from this contemplative approach, often adding another layer of understanding and practical application.

If my readers have been wondering why my blog has been silent lately, I've been going through my own changes. I felt inspired to reorganize, to shift my focus from all the negatives in my life to the infinite possibilities that await me. One way that manifested itself was in tearing my house apart. cleaning out things I no longer needed or wanted. Downsizing and getting rid of clutter is an accurate way to describe what I was doing but, really it was more than that. I was literally breaking down walls, renovating and demolishing barriers, breathing new life into myself and my environment. I felt as though I'd been hit with a lightening bolt that exploded any reasons I had to hold onto layers and layers of stuff I had accumulated. It extended to life experiences as well, memories, old acquaintances, the things that are stored way back there in the mental vault, piling up and gathering dust.

Once the work was complete, although I know there will always be more to do, I sat down in my new space to enjoy the clarity and the fresh energy I felt all around me. I reached for the Tarot deck and picked out the JUDGEMENT card, just to renew the discipline of feeling my way through the archetypes.
It seemed fitting to contemplate that particular tarot card because Judgement always signals a change..., one that involves leaving something old behind and stepping into something completely new, such as, closing the door on an old job and opening a door to a completely different career. It is also about making a final decision, to take that plunge into a new career, forgive your family, leave an abusive partner and make a new life, etc... And when you look still deeper into the archetype, it forms a panoramic picture of where you find yourself and how you got there.
Knitted together out of the many smaller pieces--the decisions and actions; the people and situations--that have gone before. Judgement guides you toward a summing up, a synthesis of what you have been doing that brought you to this moment of change. It usually helps you see things more clearly, as a pattern that suddenly makes sense. An AHA moment can be the result or, in my case, a lightening bolt.

If you think of each day as a Judgement day, you will definitely approach life in a different way because you will be much more in the tune with how the actions you take and the decisions you make impact the overall pattern of who, what and where you are,
There is a funny story about the butterfly flapping its wings in China and how it influences the weather in Florida, and maybe that's a simple way to look at it.

The Judgement card includes that...but it also implies that we have reached the end of a cycle, that we are moving from one stage to the next. Sooo as the summing up and cleaning out goes on, you are also looking ahead, and that's when you want to be mindful of moving in a new direction with a new sense of purpose.
I know, that our thoughts create our reality. They are waves of energy that will form naturally and beautifully when your intent is clear. There are infinite possibilities. If that seems overwhelming then start small, perhaps with a cleaning out the hall closet.
AMAZING THINGS GET SET IN MOTION WHEN A LITTLE BUTTERFLY FLAPS ITS WINGS~~~.
