THE QUICKENING/ACCELERATION/MAKING CHOICES

It is said that the best predictor of the future is the past. I suppose that's because our past experiences help us make decisions that shape the future. A pattern of choices and behavior can be detected in any one of us that logically points to a potential future. We can always look back at those patterns and pinpoint where we went wrong, or right, where we changed direction. That's often called a "turning point." Some people are practical, and they are alert to the fact that they are consciously creating the future. The odds of not being struck by lightening, for example, are greatly improved by avoiding metal canoes during thunderstorms. But some people will jump right into the canoe at the first sight of lightening. You have to wonder why. That doesn't make me a pessimist. Maybe I am a realist. If I could choose, and I can, I would be an optimist, and not just because optimism is linked to good health. Studies show it can also lead to personal success. I have faith that no matter how many times a person makes mistakes, there is always another turning point, and another opportunity to move their path on a direct course toward success.

And then there is repeat behavior, such as the same decision or choice being made over and over again. Eventually we hit what is known as a "tipping point."
In discussions about global warming, experts often express their concern that toxic dumping, destruction of coral reefs, for example, have already hit the tipping point, meaning there is no turning back. The die is cast and the future is highly predictable. If your behavior is destructive, it is much better to take advantage of a turning point instead of letting yourself get to a tipping point.

As I was writing this blog. I heard a voice (Yes, this happens all the time!) telling me to talk about the NEXUS POINT. Not exactly sure what it meant, I went to the computer and found a writer named William Meisheid who wrote about it.
He said:
"Nexus points are places where destiny and opportunity collide, or from a Christian perspective, where God's call and man's courage will intersect. These are strategic moments that speak to the core history and purpose of decisions and the trying of men's souls. They are opportunities to demonstrate in the moment of testing that your heart is true, that out of the fire comes precious treasure and not garbage to be swept aside. There are innumerable small and many nexus points in all of our lives, and for some there will be a singular moment that will forever define them. It is often difficult to tell how significant any test given will be. The best course is to approach each trial as if it will be the supreme test until it is upon us. We need to remember that our performance in small things seats us up for larger decisions.

"We are responsible for our choices, for the ripples that flow out from them, for good or ill, and for whether or not we have answered the call of God upon our lives, or have asked instead to be let off the hook of consequence.
"May God give each of us the grace to rise to the challenge when we confront our own nexus points."

We are all packages of energy and that energy is accelerating. This means ethat whatever future(s) we are creating are manifesting faster and faster. In my private consultations with clients, I am seeing that many people are stuck, almost frozen in place in a state of near panic. Some are unable to make any choice or decision at all, as though any movement to the left or right will send them spinning over a cliff. That can pull us out of alignment with source energy, shifting the flow or even cutting it off. It can be a confusing and exhausting place to be. If you find yourself in such a state the most beneficial thing you can do is work to clean up your present, or...where you are right now. I have said this before but it is becoming more and more critical as the acceleration continues.

So...what is the point of all this?? Pay attention to the choices you make and the potential futures they portend. Look closely at all your own patterns, and know you have the free will NOW to set in motion a future that is full of joy.
Treat everything as a possible NEXUS POINT. from which you learn that your heart is true and that the precious treasure is the fully realized you.
That is reason enough to be optimistic.

Barbara, Thank for your motivating words; your article really whittles everything down to the word courage (chutzpah, i coglioni) or whatever word or phrase you choose, and having enough of it (or them) to make life changing decisions. Someone once said: "Life is tough, it is even tougher if you're stupid" Thank you Barbara again for educating us. I just pray more people will listen. Christian
