ON THE FRINGE OF CHANGE

Many of you are ready to decide how to move on and go forward, so if you feel you are on the fringe of change, you're in the right place. More and more weak links in the structure of your personal life are going to show themselves and serve as a call to action. I know I needed to clear my headafter having to rip out an old phone system I've had for twenty-five years, replacing the wiring and installing new phones. What a hassle. And then it was on to fixing old house leaks, thawing frozen pipes, spending time with unexpected visitors, who came out of nowhere. Also, If you look back at my blog on "How I got bamboozled," the photos here show my solution, new trees planted in the back yard to protect my privacy. The bottom line... this past Mercury Retrograde period actually worked in my favor, providing delays and obstacles that helped me to clean up and clear out old messes. Some of the old structures and systems I relied on, fell apart, which forced me to take action. Yes, there were moments when I found myself pulling my hair out but now, standing on the other side of it, feels really good.



There were some positive lessons. Accommodating old systems of life will not work any longer. I tried and tried with that old phone system, which ended up being a great teacher. It served me well for many years, but as the calendar moved into the 21st century, the system began to show it's age. I adapted, patched things here and there, adding new features to an old system a valiant effort to keep it going so I could pretend the system worked as it always had. It didn't. Finally, the complete breakdown of that structure forced me to do what needed to be done. 



 Recreating the phone system is a story in itself, and yet I now look at the experience as a kind of metaphor because it applies to so many situations and structures we have relied upon, that have always been there for us. I put relationships of all kinds in the same category because I hear about the breakdowns every day in my work. Divorces are definitely on the rise, as the emotional body seeks change and love takes on a different meaning. If you choose to stay the same in whatever life challenge you are facing, you'd better stand back or you may be crushed when the whole thing comes tumbling down.

If you follow astrology, even in a casual way, then you have probably heard about the long term Uranus/Pluto energies and how they are shifting everything. Uranus represents change, invention, revolution and even higher awareness. It's effect can be shocking, unpredictable and erratic. Pluto is about globalization, destruction, transformation, and renewal. Together they will break down any structures need to go. Their combined energies are providing tests and challenges between those who want change, and those who want to maintain the status quo. This is a broad, powerful, and far reaching transformational ride that will last into 2016. Some major trigger dates are scheduled for May and November, so expect spiked activity and some major turning points in your life.and the world around you. There is big stuff happening in 2013 and 2014 and the show has barely begun. Slow movers--and you know who you are-- mat get the kick start they need to rub the sleep out of their eyes.

Get ready for the second four months of this year. You may experience some new breakthroughs as some of the old patterns rise to the surface, allowing you to more clearly see where the cracks in the system are beginning to show.  At the same time, there is help in the fact that you should feel more psychic and intuitive. Rely on that as it opens up a sense of awareness and guides you through the many changes still to come.

The stillness of waiting for things to come will allow you to regroup and awaken to these changing times.  We are now on our way, as we become the new inventors of movement.

This summer will be upbeat and sizzling with change...
